Happy 80 Years Young Auntie Carmen

On Saturday we attended an 80th birthday party for my Aunt Carmen. It was such a nice party and great to see family and friends I had not seen in a very long time. My mom was not able to attend but wanted a special card made. The polka dot card, ribbon and sentiment "birthday blowout" are from A Muse. The sunflower stamp is Stampington & Company. I used Copic markers to color the sunflower.

A friend of our family was not able to attend but asked if I would make a 80th birthday card he could give. The card stock and blue lined paper are A Muse. The stamp "happy birthday" and small scallop are Stampin Up. The big scallop is EK Success.

This is the card I made from our family. The stamp is from Hanko Designs and was colored in with Copic markers.

AP Challenge #4-Spot!! - Tic Tac Toe

This is a card I submitted for the Fourth A-Muse-A-Palooza Challenge. The challenge is to create a card using the word spot as your inspiration. The challenge is open to interpretation. I made a Tic Tac Toe card, you won, "Cheers to You!". The letters, Cheers to You stamp and card stock are from A Muse.

Note Cards for Susan

My long time friend Susan asked if I would make her some note cards with the Smoky Mountains of TN outline and her name on them. The different shades of purple on the mountains are what she requested. I did learn that the Smoky Mountains in TN are rounded not pointed like our mountains in Washington State and she has a beautiful view of the mountains from her new home.

Happy Retirement Betty!

This is a card made for my sister-in-law who retired after working for the same company a very long time. This card was given to her by our mother. The stamps and card stock are from A Muse. The punches are Marvy.
Our friend asked if I would make him a card that he could give to Betty. The stamps, ribbon and card stock are from A Muse.

This is the card I made from our family. I thought it was appropriate since Betty has a green house (and green thumb) where she starts her plants from seed, a large vegetable garden, goats, chickens and so far retirement has been good! All stamps and background paper are from A Muse. (Can you tell I love A Muse) The farmer is actually a boy stamp. Since I needed a girl farmer I added long hair, enlarged the hat and colored her clothes in pink and purple. I colored the tractor to match my brother's John Deere. This was a fun card to create. Congratulations Betty on your retirement!
